STRENGTHS: Baliarr has an incredible connection with nature. He is somehow able to memorize and intuitively select herbs, mixtures, and the energies of the different trees and intuitively for potent results. He's a wonderful assistant to anyone that does any sort of green magick or nature magick - including any work with animals or animal byproducts in one's path. He can read emotions effectively, though not alter them like some of his kin. He will use this ability to see who needs help and do what he can to bring them comfort or joy in a day.
PERSONALITY: Baliarr is an absolute joy to have around, his chipper attitude bringing light to a dark mood. He is very social, enjoying meeting new friends and growing his relationships with existing friends through interaction and getting to know those around him better. He likes to see the people around him smile, and will do everything he can to see it happen. He enjoys gliding from the higher branches on trees during nature walks, though is far too large to take off from the ground and should he grow more he won't be able to glide in the future.
APPEARANCE: He is an adolescent, so he's about the size of a horse in body with a long, serpentine neck, thick body and tail, and flat head. He holds the shape of a Western Dragon rather than the more thin Eastern Dragon. He has a pleasant evergreen color to his scales, his amber eyes often glowing during the day as he absorbs the sun's energies. His wings are large and thin, large enough to carry him in a glide, but not to lift off from the ground.

Baliarr, Male Green Dragon
This particular clan of Green Dragons is very centred on nature, specifically trees. They pick a sapling in their youth and imbue it with their energy. As the dragon grows, the tree grows as well and the dragons burrow under it to sleep for a den. The roots themselves grow around the dragon's shape so that the den is always the right size.
The younger dragons are very curious and ask many questions. They don't speak the human tongue very well, but they are very adept at communicating telepathically (though it may take a small amount of time to adjust to it at first). They are like human toddlers, always wanting to explore and know more. They tend to be a handful, but this is the age where they draw the most interest in humans.
As these dragons grow older, their bodies increase in size and they slowly lose their ability to fly. Most often, they enjoy burrowing and tunneling more than they enjoy flying, so it's no great loss to them as they age. They specialize in healing forests and trees, and are most happy in a more rural area.Image Credit:
